Apex soccer squad finishes its season in style


SUMMER FUN—The Apex U-13 girls' soccer team just wrapped up a successful summer tournament season, winning the Islands Classic in Camarillo, reaching the finals of the Thousand Oaks Classic and the Simi Valley Labor Day Invitational, and the semifinals of the North vs. South Classic in San Luis Obispo. The squad is composed of girls from Moorpark, Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park. The team will compete this fall in the Silver Central bracket of the Coast Soccer League.
