A credit card was stolen from an employer in the 11100 block of West Los Angeles Avenue sometime between Jan 1, 2007 and Sept. 4, 2008 and used to make numerous charges.
On March 10 someone stole another person's dog. The incident, which took place on Hillshire Court, wasn't reported until Sept. 15.
Two candles were stolen on Sept. 5 from a display case in a department store in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue.
Three people illegally entered a home in the 50 block of Majestic Court on Sept. 9 and threatened to kill the occupants by battering them with a 4-foot metal pole.
On Sept. 9 vandals threw rocks that damaged the new Walgreens sign in the 100 block of Los Angeles Avenue.
A sliding glass door at a neighborhood pool cabana was smashed by unknown vandals on Sept. 10. The incident took place in the 6400 block of Marquette Street.
A known suspect called someone on Sept. 11 and demanded $5,000 in exchange for not telling the victim's wife he was cheating on her. The incident took place on Applewood Lane.
A man was arrested on Sept. 12 for public intoxication. The arrest took place in the 400 block of Bard Avenue.
On Sept. 13 someone broke a window to gain entrance to a business in the 300 block of Science Drive and stole three computers.
On Sept. 15 an 18-year-old was found to be in possession of marijuana while on school grounds in the 5700 block of Condor Drive.
Three minors were arrested for possession of alcohol at a party on Roberts Street on Sept. 16.
A person was arrested on Sept. 16 on Hillshire Court for finding a gun seven years ago and keeping it.
Someone threw a rock through a window of a home on Third Street on Sept. 17.
On Sept. 18 someone stole a wallet from a person in the 5300 block of North Commerce Road and used the credit cards to make purchases.
A fight took place on Sept. 18 in the 400 block of High Street, and the two participants were arrested for disturbing the peace.
A man was found passed out on the sidewalk in front of Starbucks in the 6500 block of Campus Park Drive on Sept. 18 and was taken into custody for public intoxication.
On Sept. 18 a man dressed as Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz" made inappropriate advances toward a female customer at a gas station at Collins and Campus Park drives. The frightened woman called police, and as she was describing the encounter, the suspect was spotted driving by. Deputies successfully detained the man, who was still wearing the Dorothy costume, and determined he was under the influence of illegal drugs. The man, no longer in Kansas, was placed under arrest.
On Sept. 19 a male was cited for drinking alcohol in a public place. The incident took place in the 15400 block of Campus Park Drive.
On Sept. 20 a woman was arrested in the 500 block of Poindexter for public intoxication.
A woman was arrested on Sept. 20 for stealing items from a store in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue.
A man who allowed two pit bulls to run free in a park in the 4500 block of Tierra Rejada Road on Sept. 20 was cited for failing to contain his animals.
On Sept. 20 on Arroyo Drive a woman seen hitting her child was arrested and booked into a pretrial detention facility without incident.
A restraining order mandating that a suspect remain beyond 100 yards of an individual's home on Pecan was broken on Sept. 20 when the suspect insisted on parking in front of the victim's home during a childcustody exchange. The suspect was arrested for the violation.
A battery occurred on Sept. 21 on Bonnie View Road and the suspect was later apprehended.
On Sept. 22 someone broke the glass entrance door of Mayflower Market in the 100 block of High Street.
Incidents of auto vandalism or burglary took place on Sept. 10 on South Moorpark Avenue and Sept. 12 on Los Angeles Avenue.
Incidents of graffiti/vandalism took place on Sept. 15 on Park Lane, Sept. 20 on Sierra Avenue, and Sept. 20 in the 4700 block of Leta Yancy Road.
Incidents of a person driving without a license or a suspended license took place at the dates and places indicated: Sept. 16 at Los Angeles and Moorpark avenues, Sept. 16 at Princeton Avenue and the 118 Freeway off ramp, Sept. 16 on Spring Road, Sept. 17 on Penrose Avenue, Sept. 17 at Los Angeles and Moorpark avenues, Sept. 17 at an unidentified area of Moorpark, Sept. 17 on Spring Road, Sept. 18 at Los Angeles Avenue and Park Lane, Sept. 18 on Highway 118 at Spring Road, Sept. 18 on the 23 Freeway at Princeton Avenue, Sept. 19 in an undisclosed area of Moorpark, Sept. 19 in an undisclosed area of Moorpark, Sept. 21 on Los Angeles Avenue around Spring Road.
An incident of DUI took place on Sept. 13 in an unidentified area of Moorpark.
