A man was found on Sept. 4 in a vehicle on Nogales Avenue that had been reported as suspicious. The suspect had black tar heroin hidden inside the brim of his hat. He was also found to be under the influence of illegal drugs and was placed under arrest.
Thieves stole copper cabling on Sept. 6 from a property on Cambridge Street.
Two people were arrested on Sept. 7 for street vending without a license at the intersection of Auburn Circle and Purdue Street.
On Sept. 8 a tractor parked on Sept. 8 in a vacant lot adjacent to property in the 13000 block of Shadowwood Place was vandalized by someone using metal nuts and bolts to break the windshield, causing more than $1,000 in damages.
Three individuals entered a home on Majestic Court on Sept. 9 and threatened to kill the occupants with a metal pipe. The suspects used the pipe to make several holes in a door next to one of the occupants.
On Sept. 10 a man was arrested for street vending without a proper license at the corner of Hartford and Harvard streets.
Someone stole a bicycle from a another person on Sept. 10 in the 300 block of High Street.
During an arrest on Sept. 13 involving a subject under the influence of illegal drugs in front of the Tipsy Fox on Spring and High streets, the subject also gave a false name and birthdate. He was taken into custody.
Two individuals parked at the corner of Nogales and Princeton avenues on Sept. 14 were found to be in possession of three baggies containing black tar heroin. The pair was taken into custody.
In an undisclosed area of Moorpark, during a consensual contact on Sept. 14, a person was found to be under the influence of an illegal drug. When told he was under arrest the subject began to fight deputies. After being told a Taser would be used to subdue him, the man stopped struggling with the deputies. Once he complied, the deputies searched him and found a bag containing white rock cocaine. The man was placed under arrest and booked into East Valley Jail.
An incident of auto vandalism or burglary took place on Sept. 10 in the 15000 block of Campus Park Drive.
An incident of graffiti/vandalism took place on Sept. 13 on Campus Park Drive.
Incidents of a person driving without a license or a suspended license took place at the dates and places indicated: Sept. 6 at Second and Millard Streets, Sept. 8 at Marquette Street and Campus Park Drive, Sept. 8 at an undisclosed area of Moorpark, Sept. 10 on Los Angeles Avenue and Marketplace, Sept. 11 on Los Angeles Avenue at Moorpark Avenue, Sept. 11 at an undisclosed area of Moorpark, Sept. 13 at Moorpark Avenue and Third Street, Sept. 13 on Moorpark Avenue, Sept. 13 at an undisclosed area of Moorpark.
An incident of DUI took place on Sept. 11 at an undisclosed area of Moorpark.
