My name is Meghan Lopez and I am currently Miss Ventura County International. The Moorpark Acorn just covered a story in regards to Jason's Race, which is a local event taking place to bring awareness to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

I currently have teamed up with the Lutz family who is hosting the event. I am in search for not only more participants to register for the event but for donations of water and snacks to be served during the event.

It seems the news media is a great way to spread the word. The Moorpark Acorn has done a great job in editorials to cover local events taking place to make a difference.

I am reaching out to the community for help with donations of snacks because larger manufactures are unable to meet the needs within a short amount of time.
