The Conejo Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will launch its monthly speaker series from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Fri., July 18 at 3331 Old Conejo Road, Newbury Park.

Speaker John Suarez will discuss "Evolutionism, Creationism and Intelligent Design," including the concept of evolution, public school teaching of evolution, the recent Dover trial and consideration of what the future might bring.

An open discussion will follow the presentation.
