KIM RAMSEYER/Special to the Acorn RACOONS ON PARADE- A Moorpark couple in the Home Acres area was awakened around 4 a.m. recently with a noisy "coo-crackle" sound under their window. Having no idea what the noise was, they got up and saw a fuzzy-tailed critter the size of a small cat scurry away. Since they had seen three skunks in the neighborhood on their way home the night before, they assumed it was a skunk. About a half hour later, they heard a similar noise in the front yard and they went outside to investigate. The couple was startled to find these three little animals making their way to the pond in their yard. Two other raccoons stayed in the plants, but these three were brave, making their way to the fence and then back to the shed area. Hey, fellers, where's your momma?
