The following took place in Moorpark incorporated areas:

Burglars attempted entry to a locked residence on May 23, coming in through a backyard in the 14100 block of Stagecoach Trail.

On May 24, the tailgate of a truck was removed and thrown into the front windshield, causing it to shatter. The incident took place in the 3900 block of Sunset Ridge Road.

On June 4 a bicycle was stolen from a private yard in the 14400 block of Peach Hill Drive.

On June 5 a robbery took place on Marquette Street at Campus Park Drive when known suspects brandished a knife to scare a victim into giving up property.

Three know gang members approached a victim on June 9 in Poindexter Park, intimidated the person into handing over a cellphone and wallet. The victim was threatened with physical violence if he didn't comply.

On June 11, seven underage youths were found inebriated while parked in three cars at the north end of Wicks Road. One youth was identified as the one who brought the liquor, whereupon he was arrested.

During a routine traffic stop on June 11 for illegally tinted windows, the driver of the car was found in possession of marijuana which was clearly in site on the center console. The incident took place in an undisclosed area of Moorpark.

A person sustained a beating on June 11 in the 15700 block of Arroyo Drive. The attacker took a telephone from the victim, keeping that person from reporting the crime.

On June 12 a wallet was stolen off the counter at the Shell Gas Station in the 6500 block of Collins Drive. Later an attempt to purchase prescription drugs on-line was made using a debit card from that wallet.

On June 12 identity theft was reported from the 10900 block of Los Angeles Avenue. The theft had been ongoing since Jan. 1, 2007.

A hit and run was reported on June 13 in the 4700 block of Moorpark Avenue. The perpetrator was arrested a short time later.

On June 16 a youth was cited and released on Elk Run Loop and Spring Road for possession of marijuana.

A marijuana arrest was made on June 16 at Los Angeles Avenue and Spring Road. The arrestee was driving when caught.

Incidents of auto vandalism or burglary took place at the dates and places indicated: June 5 in the 12400 block of Alderglen Street, June 10 in the 4500 block of Tierra Rejada Road. Two incidents were reported on June 14 in the 13500 block of Laurelhurst Road.

Incidents of graffiti/vandalism took place at the dates and places indicated: sometime between April 27 and May 27 in the 500 block of Spring Road, sometime between June 4 and June 12 in the 14300 block of Avenida Colonia, May 26 in the 5200 block of Maureen Lane, June 6 in the 4500 block of Tierra Rejada Road, June 6 in the 200 block of Poindexter Road, June 11 at the intersection of College Heights and Westwood Street, June 12 in the 14000 block of Peach Hill Road, June 14 in the 13400 block of Christian Barrett Drive, June 15 at the corner of Peach Hill Road and Rolling Knoll.

Incidents of a person driving without a license or a suspended license took place at the dates and places indicated: June 10 in the 4700 block of Moorpark Avenue, June 11 at the intersection of Second Street at Bard Street, June 12 in the 5400 block of Collins Drive, June 13 at Princeton Avenue at Condor Drive, June 14 at Los Angeles Avenue and Leta Yancy Road, June 16 in the 5100 block of Commerce Drive, June 16 at First Street, west of Bard Street.

The following took place in unincorporated areas of Moorpark:

Gas was siphoned from a vehicle parked in the 2600 block of Riata Court in Santa Rosa Valley on May 13. The crime was not reported until June 12.

Siphoning gas was reported June 11 in the 2200 block of Barbara Drive. 17 gallons of fuel was stolen.

On June 14 an underage person was arrested in the 8400 block of Grimes Canyon Road for possession of beer. The unopened beer was confiscated and thrown away by the Moorpark Police Department.

A wedding ceremony was illegally held on June 15 in the 6200 block of Old Balcom Canyon Road. The host had not obtained a conditional use permit for the event.
