The Moorpark Active Adult Center presents the following activities for seniors this month. Events require a reservation and will meet at 799 Moorpark Ave. unless otherwise noted. Programs are free unless a donation is requested.

•A CVS pharmacist will give a free presentation of managing prescription and nonprescription medications at 10 a.m. Wed., June 11. Seniors may take part in a free oneonone consultation regarding their own medications with the pharmacist.

•Barbara Orechoff of AIG Financial Advisors will give an historical overview of the stock market in a free talk at 1 p.m. Tues., June 17.

•Anita Dahl will lead a free workshop on decorating a straw hat at 10 a.m. Tues., June 24. Lace, ribbon, silk flowers and other supplies will be provided. Participants should bring their own straw hat.

•Pat and Teresa Russell will perform rock and Delta blues at 1 p.m. Wed., June 28. The show follows the June birthday luncheon at noon in the center 's multipurpose room. The performance is free. Suggested lunch donation is $2.25 for ages 60 and up and $5 for those under 60.
