As a new resident of Moorpark and a theatre patron, I poured through the May 16 edition of the Moorpark Acorn, looking for a write-up on a play premiering that same day at the High Street Arts Center. The only thing I could find on "The Curious Savage" was a tiny ad in the Datebook section on page 33.

I've seen several productions at the HSAC and the talent and the technical support have always been first rate. "The Curious Savage" is no exception. On May 16, the Moorpark Acorn gave brief mention of a continuing production at the Ojai Art Center Theatre. I can only wonder why it failed to herald the opening night of a play much closer to home.
