Simi Valley's Hadassah group, L'Dor Vador, and Congregation B'nai Emet Sisterhood will host critically acclaimed speaker Roberta Gold, who will speak on "The Power of Laughter" from 2 to 4 p.m. Sun., June 22 at the Ziegler Center at Mt. Sinai Memorial Park, 6150 Mount Sinai Drive, Simi Valley.

The event is free and the public is invited. Light refreshments will be served.

Gold is a recreation therapist who uses humor in her work. At the talk, Gold will show how to use humor to improve communication.
