A CVS pharmacist will give a free presentation for seniors on managing medications at 10 a.m. Wed., June 4 at the Moorpark Active Adult Center, 799 Moorpark Ave.

This event will provide a 15minute presentation on how to improve health through proper medication management and how to reduce the risks of inappropriate medication use.

Attendees may then participate in a 15-minute one-on-one consultation to review prescription and nonprescription medications. The pharmacist will help determine if there are any potential interactions between medications, as well as identify duplicate and outdated prescriptions.

The event is sponsored by the Active Adult Center, the National Council on Aging and CVS/pharmacy.
