Carnival at Chaparral

Chaparral Middle School will host "Showcase of the Stars" from 5:30 to 9 p.m. today, Fri., May 9 on campus, 280 Poindexter Ave., Moorpark.

The event includes classroom crafts, carnival games, raffles, dunk tank, cake walk, smoothies, ice cream and milkshakes.

The school's band, chorus and strings will perform.
