Man stabbed in Moorpark
Camarillo resident Gregory Allan Ruiz, 19, was allegedly stabbed by an acquaintance in a Moorpark home Sunday night.
The incident occurred in the 100 block of Moorpark Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. The victim was stabbed in the back with a steak knife after an argument, authorities said.
Ruiz suffered a punctured lung and was transported to Simi Valley Hospital. The young man was in stable condition following the attack, said authorities.
Deputies and a sheriff's K-9 unit searched the area where the stabbing occurred but hadn't located the attacker as of Tuesday morning.
