THE SOUND OF MUSIC- The String Orchestras of Arroyo West Elementary School play the annual Winter Concert recently at the school. The class, directed by Cheryl Marvin, consists of Beginning Strings and Concert Strings with students from grades 2 through 5. The orchestra will be participating in the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association Festival held at Moorpark High School on March 8. On Jan. 3 a prowler was reported going through the contents of a boat stored on private property in the 1100 block of Walnut Canyon Road. Officers responding to the call found a man lying on his stomach in a wash 200 feet from the boat owner's home. LONG-TIME LOVE- Don Pearlman and Helene Benjamin portray married couple Norman Jr. and Ethel Thayer in "On Golden Pond," playing through March 2 at the High Street Arts Center at 45 E.
