Once in a while, an editorial can talk about something positive. This is one of those occasions. Motorists in Moorpark, Conejo Valley, Simi Valley and other areas have been coping with a construction project to widen the 23 Freeway. Although it seems like an eternity since the project began, the groundbreaking ceremony was held in May 2006 and work started that summer. More ... I know that it may sometimes appear in this column that I long for the ways of the past. This is not true. These are the good old days and I believe that things will only get better. I believe that the glass is half full, but I probably wouldn't like the guy who didn't bother to fill it back up when he was finished. More ... |
