Astronomer to discuss the night sky

The Ventura County Astronomical Society will hold its monthly membership meeting at 7:30 p.m. Fri., Feb. 15 in the multipurpose room at Mesa Union School, 3901 Mesa School Road in Somis.

The evening's subject is "The Sky Can Be Your Laboratory" with speaker Robert Buchheim.

Buchheim is a longtime member of the Orange County Astronomers. He has published sketches in Deep Sky magazine and presented papers at Riverside Telescope Makers Conference.
