Beautiful shapes unfold through the art of origami

About 10 Moorpark children in grades 5 through 8 attended the library's first origami workshop and learn how to make hearts, shirts, boxes and cellphones by folding paper. New degree programs presented
      Prospective students are invited to attend an informational presentation on the new bachelor's degree programs offered by University of La Verne on the Moorpark College campus. The event is free and open to the public. The session will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Tues., Feb. 5 in Fountain Hall 112, Moorpark College, 7075 Campus Road.
