Local gas station clerk robbed at gunpoint

Two men robbed the Moorpark Auto Spa (Mobil Station) at 550 Los Angeles Ave. at 2:58 a.m. on Dec. 7.

Two suspects entered the business wearing hooded sweatshirts pulled over their heads. While one suspect stood at the doorway, the other suspect pulled a handgun from their sweatshirt and pointed it at the store clerk. The suspect ordered the clerk to remove the cash drawer from the register and then to lie on the ground. The clerk complied and the suspect removed approximately $260 from the cash drawer.

Both suspects then ran from the business in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured during the incident.

The victim described one suspect as being Hispanic, slender build and aged 25 to 27. The other suspect was described as African American, medium build and aged 20 to 30.
