Sheriff's Blotter On Nov. 26 someone stole property valued at more than $400 from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 14200 block of Maya Circle. Authorities arrested a man with an outstanding warrant during a routine traffic stop on Nov. 25. The person made an unsafe lane change in front of the patrol vehicle and was driving without a valid license. He has a $35,000 warrant and will be extradited to San Diego. A 26-year-old man was cited on Nov. 25 for driving while under the influence of drugs. He was booked at the Moorpark Police Station and then released on $5,000 bail and a $541 fine. Someone threw a rock through the windshield of a car parked in the 12000 block of Alderbrook Street on Nov. 24. Thieves stole a $32.16 item from Chick's Sporting Goods on Los Angeles Avenue on Nov 24. On Nov. 24 someone stole property from a motorcycle parked in the 700 block of Los Angeles Avenue. Someone walked out of the Kohl's department store on Los Angeles Avenue without paying for merchandise on Nov. 24. Authorities cited a 26-year-old man for driving without a license and failing to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Spring Road and Charles Street on Nov. 21. On Nov. 21 someone was cited for driving recklessly on Santa Rosa Road. Someone stole a wallet from the purse of a 78-year-old person who was shopping at Vons on Nov. 21. On Nov. 21 vandals caused $1,000 in damages when they spray-pained graffiti on a vehicle parked at the corner of Walnut and Charles streets. Someone caused $400 in damages when they spraypainted graffiti on a Metrolink train Nov. 21. A 38-year-old woman was cited with a $271 fine for driving without a valid license and expired registration tags. The incident occurred at the corner of Collins Drive and Campus Park on Nov. 20. |
