New postal unit opens

Casino Self Storage in Moorpark was recently awarded a new contract postal unit, which will provide the same postal products and full services at the same rates as the regular Moorpark Post Office.

Casino Self Storage employees will staff the unit. During the holiday season, employees will also provide gift wrapping services.

"It was not a financial decision to put in a contract postal facility at Casino Self Storage, because a contract USPS is not a money maker, but rather to service the already overburdened Moorpark postal facility," said Manny Asandurain Jr., CEO of Casino Self Storage.
