Don't be a 'mug-gle'- buy a high school cup

The mug-a-thon is coming! Parent Teacher Student Association members are hard at work preparing for the biggest annual fundraiser benefiting students at Moorpark High School.

Between Nov. 12 and 15, volunteers will be calling residents, asking them to purchase coffee mugs sporting the school logo for $20 each. The mugs will be delivered the night of the purchase.

The mug logo was designed by MHS student, Stephen Mallett, who graduated last year.

"The goal is to make $10,000," said Cindi Feig, PTSA vice president of ways and means.

Most of the funds are used for college scholarships. The remainder of the money goes to campus beautification projects and to education and curriculum support for local high school pupils.
