High marks for hospital

Simi Valley Hospital's home health provider, Adventist Health/Home Care Services of Simi Valley, ranks high in two recent nationwide reviews of quality of care. The federal Medicare program prepared one report; the other was compiled by a private company.

"Patient safety, satisfaction and quality are the foremost priorities among my staff," said Susan Myers, director of Adventist Health/Home Care Services of Simi Valley Hospital.

In the Medicare study, Adventist Health/Home Care Services of Simi Valley surpassed other local providers (Los Robles Home Care Services Inc., California Nurses Home Health and Assisted Healthcare Services) and exceeded national and state averages with its Medicare patient population.
