Advisory group wants applicants
Input needed for active adult programming

The Moorpark City Council is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Active Adult Center Advisory Committee. The appointment is to complete the current term to expire December 2008.

Each applicant must be age 60 or over, a resident of Moorpark and a registered voter.

The committee meets monthly and provides staff with recommendations related to the programming of active adult activities, including input which addresses the Active Adult Center operation and other general active adult-related issues and interests.

Applications may be obtained at City Hall, 799 Moorpark Ave., or downloaded from www .ci.moorpark.ca.us.

Applications may only be submitted to the city clerk at city hall and must be received no later than 5 p.m. Fri., Nov. 30. Postmarks will not be accepted.
