IRIS SMOOT/Acorn Newspapers MANY HAPPY RETURNS- Lorene Foster can't resist tasting the birthday cake at her 99th birthday party on Saturday in Moorpark. Lorene and Chester Foster owned the Santa Susana Airport from 1944 until Ventura County closed and paved over the airfield in 1969. Lorene Foster was also one of the first 100 members of the Simi Valley Women's Club, having joined in 1947. She is still active in the community.
