Free mental health screenings offered

Free depression and anxiety screenings are available on an ongoing basis through Wellspring Counseling Group at 165 High St., Ste. 102, Moorpark, CA 93021.

Interested parties can discuss their situations privately with a therapist and explore their options.

Alternatively, people can mail or deliver a self-addressed stamped envelope to Wellspring's office at the address above and request a self-scoring depression or anxiety inventory to help gauge for themselves whether their situation might warrant outside assistance.

The six licensed therapists affiliated with Wellspring work with clients on such issues as depression, anxiety, stress, anger, and relationship and parenting difficulties, among others.

The therapists see individual adults, adolescents and children, as well as couples and families.
