Dispose of trash for free on Sunday

The last free landfill day of this year for Moorpark residents will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sun., Sept. 16 at the Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center at 2801 Madera Road.

This is an opportunity to safely and properly dispose of accumulated refuse and to recycle yard trimmings.

Household waste from Moorpark residents can be dumped or recycled for no charge.

Hazardous material, construction debris and business waste are not accepted. No appointments are necessary.
