Preschool accepting applications

Away We Grow preschool is taking applications for the 3-year-olds' class for the 2007-08 school year.

Class is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark. Alice Cantwell is the instructor.

Fees are $227 per month, plus a $50 enrollment fee.

The school offers a safe and fun learning environment where students will experience a variety of early childhood activities, including arts and crafts, games, finger plays, music, stories, circle time and more.

The program is designed to develop children's large and fine motor skills, social skills, speech and language, and thought processes such as color, shape, number and letter recognition. Each month has a special theme and attraction.
