Thieves stole items from an unlocked car on Aug. 25 in the 6700 block of Pecan Street.

On Aug. 26 a car parked in the 15300 block of Mahan Court was pelted with raw eggs, yogurt and peaches. One of the tires was punctured.

A known suspect broke into the Catholic Charities building in the 600 block of Fitch Street on Aug. 24. The burglar entered the side window of the building and attempted to steal items. He was arrested while trying to exit the window.

Sometime between Aug. 10 and 14 a bicycle chained to the fence at the Metrolink station in the 300 block of High Street was stolen.

A car was burglarized on Aug. 23 in the 14800 block of Reedley Street.

In what appears as gangrelated activity, sometime between Aug. 21 and 22 in the 600 block of Fitch Street immediately behind the Moorpark Police Services Center, vandals damaged property with spray paint and attempted to force entry into a locked container using a pipe and a large rock. They then tried to get into the main business building by removing screws and a covering from a secured window.

Thieves broke into a private garage sometime between Aug. 21 and 22 in the 300 block of Dorothy Avenue and stole a bicycle.

Another bicycle was stolen sometime between Aug. 20 and 21 from a private garage in the 4700 block of Elderberry Avenue.

Someone threw a rock at a moving car on Walnut Canyon on Aug. 20. The rock caused more than $400 in damages to the car.

reVandals smeared an unknown yellow substance over a car sometime between Aug. 18 and 19 in the 13400 block of Laurelhurst Road.

On Aug. 20, a suspect entered the Albertsons grocery store in the 400 block of Los Angeles Avenue carrying an empty grocery bag and went directly to the cosmetics department where the person filled the bag with several items and left the store without paying for them.

A man exposed himself to another person on Aug. 18 in the 14300 block of Sage Road.

On Aug. 16 thieves made off with dry cleaning that had been left on the front porch of a home in the 6500 block of Pinnacle Way.

Two shoplifters attempting to steal a wallet from Chick's Sporting Goods on Aug. 16 in the 700 block of Los Angeles Avenue were apprehended.

On Aug. 25 a man found slouched over the steering wheel of his car parked near the intersection of Happy Camp and Broadway roads was found to be too intoxicated to operate his car and was taken into custody.

On Aug. 22 two males in the 6900 block of Queens Court who were under the age of 21 were found to be in possession of alcohol. One of the two was also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

A woman used another person's card to make a purchase on Aug. 17 in the 400 block of Los Angeles Avenue. The woman also signed the purchase with the victim's name.
