First 5 presents Kindergarten Kickoff

The Moorpark/Simi Valley Neighborhood for Learning, a First 5 funded program, will hold its first Kindergarten Kickoff from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow, Sat., Aug. 18 at the Berylwood Family Resource Center, 2300 Heywood St., Simi Valley.

The kickoff will feature information for parents on what to expect from their kindergartner and how they can support their child's education.

For children, there will be entertainment and activities. A limited number of backpacks and school supplies will be given away.
