A shoplifter stole an item on Aug. 13 at Chick's Sporting Goods in the 700 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

A thief entered a car and stole personal items on Aug. 11 in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

Sometime between Aug. 11 and 13 burglars entered Kahoots Feed and Supply in the 300 block of High Street and stole items from the business and an undisclosed amount of money from the safe.

A known suspect stole property on Aug. 11 from Chick's Sporting Goods in the 700 block of Los Angeles Avenue. The shoplifter switched price tags on an item to a lower price.

On Aug. 11, thieves broke into and stole a car parked in the 300 block of High Street.

Thieves pushed the window down on a car to gain access to property inside. The crime took place on Aug. 11 in the 600 block of Moorpark Avenue.

Chick's Sporting Goods was again the scene of a theft on Aug. 10, when someone entered the store in the 700 block of Los Angeles Avenue and took merchandise without paying.

Sometime between Aug. 7 and 10, thieves cut the wires leading to a sprinkler box belonging to the city of Moorpark in the 200 block of West Los Angeles Boulevard. They then stole the entire mechanism.

Someone vandalized property in the 100 block of High Street sometime between Aug. 9 and 10. Damages exceeded $400.

Burglars removed items from the OTA Nursery sometime between Aug. 6 and 10 in the 8700 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

Another car was burglarized on Aug. 9 in the 300 block of High Street.

Someone passed a forged check on July 26 in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

A thief shoplifted items from Ralphs grocery store in the 100 block of Los Angeles Avenue on Aug. 6.

On Aug. 5 vandals threw eggs at a residence in the 7200 block of Pecan Avenue, breaking the garage door window.

A car parked in the 13600 block of Laurelhurst Road was burglarized sometime between Aug. 3 and 4. Electronic equipment was removed from the car.

The north end of Skyglen Court was covered with graffiti on Aug. 4.

A car was burglarized sometime between Aug. 1 and 2 while parked in the 4700 block of Moorpark Avenue.

On Aug. 13 a man was arrested for urinating in a public place in the 400 block of High Street.

A man was arrested for theft in the 700 block of Los Angeles Avenue on Aug. 13.

An intoxicated man fought with deputies on Aug. 11 in the 300 block of Charles Street. Deputies subdued him and used handcuffs.

Two vandals were seen spray- painting a gang-related mural on an overpass pylon at Princeton Avenue on Aug. 11. When approached, the pair sprinted into the brush near the arroyo. One of the vandals was located and charged with vandalism exceeding $400, resisting arrest and possession of a deadly weapon when deputies discovering a billy club in the bag of spray paint.

On Aug. 10 a man was arrested for stealing merchandise from an outbuilding on a property in the 700 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

A woman driving in an undisclosed area of Moorpark on Aug. 10 was arrested for being under the influence of illegal drugs.

The owner of a car illegally parked outside Villa De Arroyo Mobile Home Park on Aug. 9 was found to be in possession of illegal drugs and was arrested.

While questioning two pedestrians out walking at 3 a.m. on Aug. 9 at the intersection of Spring Road and Los Angeles Avenue, deputies recognized one of the men as under the influence of illegal drugs and made an arrest.

In the process of making an arrest on a warrant on a suspect living in the 100 block of First Street on Aug. 7, it was discovered that the man had 4.7 grams of marijuana on his person.

A woman in College View Park displaying symptoms of being under the influence of illegal drugs was arrested and released on Aug. 5. She promised to appear in court.

On Aug. 5 at College View Park a man was seen loitering around the woman's bathroom. After an investigation found that he was under the influence of illegal drugs and carrying .7 grams of methamphetamine and a glass smoking pipe, he was arrested.

During a probation search done on Aug. 3 in the 13800 block of Princeton, a man was found to be in possession of an illegal knife and breaking the terms of his probation. He was subsequently arrested.
