Two men shot in Moorpark
Man, woman arrested

Two people have been arrested for allegedly shooting two Moorpark men on Aug. 5.

Ventura County Sheriff 's Dispatch received a call at 10:30 p.m. regarding a shooting in an apartment complex parking lot in the 100 block of Moorpark Avenue. Deputies arrived on the scene but did not see any gunshot victims.

Deputies later found two men, Henry Perez and Jeffrey Depaz, both 20, receiving treatment for gunshot wounds at a local hospital. The injuries were not life threatening.

Around midnight, detectives arrested suspects Saul Silva, 27, of Reseda and Clara Sandoval, 18, of Moorpark on attempted murder charges. Their bail is set at $500,000 each.

There are no additional suspects involved in the shooting and the investigation is continuing, officials said.
