Youth can learn, play soccer

Moorpark Community Services, Calvary Chapel Tierra Rejada and Moorpark United Methodist Church will host a free youth soccer clinic from 3 to 5 p.m. tomorrow, Sat., July 21 at Poindexter Park.

The clinic is for preschool children ages 4 to 5 through grade 6.

The clinic will teach basic soccer skills and provide the best possible soccer experience for the boys and girls by maximizing both learning and enjoyment.

Each coach will be volunteering their time and experience to provide the children with a fun approach to playing the game.

The first half of the afternoon will concentrate on skill building and exercises, and the second half will be set aside for participants to play a coachmonitored game.

Parents are encouraged to stay during the clinic and to encourage their children.
