A thief was caught in the 4200 block of Tierra Rejada Road July 8 after attempting to steal merchandise from the Vons supermarket.

Burglars stole items from a car parked in the 600 block of Spring Road sometime between July 3 and 5.

During a routine traffic stop at an unnamed location July 7, an officer noted the driver showed signs of illegal drug use. During a search of the vehicle, methamphetamines were found and the driver was arrested.

A man and a woman whom police stopped at the intersection of Millard Street and Susan Avenue on July 3 were found to be in possession of a glass smoking pipe with residue, and two people were under the influence of an illegal drug.
