Air monitoring plan available

The Ventura County Air Polluion Control District has released

ts 2007 draft Ambient Air Moni

oring Plan for public review and comment until Fri., July 27.

Federal regulations require

hat all air districts prepare an annual plan that describes the network of ambient air quality moni

ors and identifies any need for additions, relocations or termina

ions of monitoring sites or instrumentations.

The plan describes its network of six air quality monitoring sta

ions and also includes a review of actions taken during 2006 and plans for future action.

The plan is available online at www.vcapcd.org.

Copies are available at the Ventura County APCD office, 669 County Square Drive, second

loor, Ventura.
