Youth can get physicals at Boys & Girls Club

The Boys & Girls Club of Moorpark will conduct a Sports Physical Day for any youth needing a doctor's physical to participate in a sports activity or to attend a summer camp.

The event will be at the club's main facility at 200 Casey Road, beginning at 2 pm. Sun., June 15.

Dr. Curtis Kodama of Moorpark Comprehensive Medical Group will lead a team of local physicians to perform the physicals.

Cost of each exam is $25. Credit cards, cash and checks made out to the Boys & Girls Club of Moorpark will be accepted.

Attendees should bring their school, team or camp exam form which will be filled out and signed by the doctors.

Facilities and staff are not able to accommodate physicals that require a urine test. Those requiring a urine test should contact their personal physician or medical group.

All proceeds of the event will benefit the club's educational and after school programs.
