      In the article on the Moorpark High School commencement, Cindy Calderon and Andreina Morales were wrongly identified as teachers at the school. The two young women who spoke at the ceremony on June 14 were both students.

GOP women award scholarships
      Tracy Akashi, 2007 honor graduate of Moorpark High School, was awarded a $500 scholarship by the Conejo Valley Republican Women Federated in memory of Charlotte Mousel, past president of the California Federation Republican Women.
