Celebrate all things Swedish

A Swedish Midsummer Festival will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sun., June 24 at Vasa Park, 2854 Triunfo Canyon Road, Agoura Hills.

The celebration will include breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. and a lunch of meatballs with lingonberry or hot dogs with bread and mashed potatoes after 11 a.m.

A Swedish minister will conduct a church service between 10:30 and 11 a.m. At noon, the midsummer pole will be raised, followed by traditional ring dancing, singing and children's games.

The swimming pool and water slide will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This will be the 87th midsummer celebration sponsored by the Swedish American Central Association of Southern California.
