Science and selflessness afoot at Mesa Verde Middle School

PUMA PRIDE- Kim DiCecco and Lamees Nesheiwat create a mosaic of a puma, the Mesa Verde Middle School mascot. The new display hangs in the school quad. DiCecco, a painter, decorated the tiles that were backed and assembled by Nesheiwat. The two mothers took on this project because they wanted to show their appreciation for the school, they said. "It's the least I could do," said Neisheiwat, who has five children attending district schools. DiCecco is the president of the Mesa Verde PTA and she too likes to volunteer for the school. Her daughter will attend eighth grade next year.
