The Moorpark Active Adult Center presents the following activities for seniors this month.

Events require a reservation and will meet at 799 Moorpark Ave. unless otherwise noted. Programs are free unless a donation is requested.

+No partner is needed for the Country Western Line Dance Jamboree at 9:30 a.m. Mon., June 4. Dances will be geared for all skill levels of dancers, and all are welcome. Instructor Elaine McGovern will lead participants through a series of dances.

Lunch will be served at noon following the dance, with a prize drawing for all the line dancers. Suggested lunch donation is $2.25 for those ages 60 and up and $5 for all others. Lunch reservations are required by today, Fri., June 1.

+A Father's Day luncheon will be served at noon Fri., June 15, with games and special prizes for male guests. The monthly Komedy Club and a movie screening will be presented after the lunch. Suggested lunch donation is $2.25.

+The annual Sizzlin' Summer Social will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Fri., June 29. This pre-Independence Day Party and Ice Cream Social will feature food, prizes, spelling bee, crossword puzzle competition, bean bag toss and water balloon toss. Advance sign-ups are requested for the contests.

Lunch will be served at noon with hamburgers, turkey burgers, veggie burgers, salad and watermelon, with an ice cream social to follow at 1:45 p.m. Suggested lunch donation is $2.25.

+Players are needed for the social bridge group which meets every Friday from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
