Kiwanis sponsor benefit

Moorpark Kiwanis will host a Wine and Moonlight fundraiser from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thurs., July 21 at the Gardens of the World, 2001 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

This is a wine tasting event with nine vintners, food vendors, free food buffet, silent auction and a jazz band. Margarita Riley's strings group will play.

Tickets are $40, which includes eight tastings and unlimited food. Extra tastings are one dollar. Early reservations are encouraged.

To RSVP, make out a check to Moorpark Kiwanis and write "Wine" on the memo line. Mail the check to Yvonne DiFrancesco, 4540 Mill Valley Road, Moorpark, CA 93021-2235. Tickets will be mailed back.
