March Home Sales

March sales of Conejo Valley singlefamily homes totaled 106. This compares to 95 sold in February and 156 a year ago, according to Allen Reznick, president of the Conejo Valley Association of Realtors.

The median sales price for single-family homes in March was $814,285; last year it was $842,105. The median price is the point where half of the units were sold for more and half for less.

Median prices for single-family homes in March were: $625,000 for one 2-bedroom home, $664,473 for 25 3bedroom homes and $883,333 for 80 4- or more bedroom homes. This compares to sales in March 2006 of $583,222 for four homes of up to two bedrooms, $671,874 for 44 3-bedroom homes and $959,677 for 108 4or more bedroom homes.

Condominium sales totaled 66 in March compared to 36 in February 2007 and 74 for March 2006.

Total sales for all real estate transactions in March were $147.2 million; for March 2006 the total was $220.4 million.

New residential listings totaled 480 in March 2007 compared to 303 in March 2006 and 129 in February 2007.
