Middle-aged man wonders if he's 'Last of Red Hot Lovers'

KISS ME, YOU FOOL- Ronal Rezac, as Barney Cashman, isn't sure what to do with Dawn Meyer, playing Bobbi Michele, in "The Last of the Red Hot Lovers" which opens tonight at the High Street Arts Center in Moorpark.
The High Street Arts Center opens the Neil Simon comedy, "The Last of the Red Hot Lovers," at 8 p.m. tonight, Fri., May 18 at 45 E. High St., Moorpark.

The show continues through June 17 at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays.

The play tells the story of Barney Cashman, a middle-aged married man who married his high school sweetheart. Now he wants to join the sexual revolution of the '60s before it's too late. Follow this gentle soul with no experience in adultery in his flawed attempts at three seductions, each more hilariously disastrous than the last.

In the cast are Ron Rezac as Cashman, Amy Jennings as Elaine Navazio, Dawn Meyer as Bobbi Michele and Vivien Latham as Jeanette Fisher.

The play is directed by George Kralemann and produced by L.J. Stevens. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $8 for children 12 and under. Group discounts are available.
