Cowboy fest gallops in town

Conejo Players Theatre will present the 2007 Conejo Cowboy Festival at 8 p.m. Fri. and Sat., May 18 and 19, at 351 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

There will be preshow entertainment at 7 p.m. A backstage re

ception will follow the show; hors d'oeuvres and coffee will be provided, and there will be a no-host bar offering beer, wine and soda.

The festival will feature Belinda Gail and Curley Musgrave, Pat Richardson, Sourdough Slim, Gary Robertson, Michael Tcherkassky (Friday only) and Nancy Lee (Saturday only). Entertainment includes music, comedy, poetry, rope tricks and yodeling.

Tickets are $25 for one night or $40 for both nights.
