A burglary attempt took place in the 15700 block of Arroyo Drive on April 23 when someone tried to pry a window screen out of place to get into a home. An arrest was made later the same day.

Two 12-packs of Coronas beer were stolen from the 7-11 store in the 500 block of Los Angeles Avenue on April 22. Two suspects walked out of the store with the beer without paying.

Between April 21 and 22 vandals spraypainted graffiti on a cityowned wall in the 12300 block of Alderglen Street and also on Alderbrook Street and Country Creek Court.

Known suspects were seen trespassing on railway property near the 500 block of Moorpark Avenue on April 19.

A retaining wall in the 4100 block of Crabapple Court was vandalized with graffiti between April 17 and 19. Damages exceeded $400.

Between March 28 and April 18 someone forced their way into a home in the 50 block of Majestic Court and stole personal property.

A burglary took place at a private residence in the 700 block of Sir George Street on April 18.

A car was broken into and burglarized in the 12700 block of Summers Street between April 13 and 16.

The new Warehouse Discount Center in the 14300 block of White Sage Road sustained more than $400 in damages due to graffiti vandalism between April 13 and 16.

Substantial shoplifting took place at the Rite Aid store in the 3900 block of Spring Road between April 15 and 16.

While stealing a stereo from a car parked on Esther Avenue on April 15, thieves also broke windows and scratched the car's paint.

A car parked in the 11900 block of Maplecrest Street was vandalized between March 31 and April 7 when vandals smudged graffiti into the finish of the car by grinding heavy dust into its newly-painted surface.

Someone smashed a shovel into the body of a truck on April 4 in the 4500 block of Bella Vista Drive. At the same time, a suspect also threw a flashlight, breaking the truck window and rear-view mirror. Damages exceeded $1,000.

A young man was taken into custody on April 22 when an officer walking through a housing complex saw drug paraphernalia, a triplebeam scale, packaging and marijuana inside a residence. An arrest was made immediately in the 600 block of Spring Road.

During a routine traffic stop at the intersection of Tierra Rejada Road and the 23 Freeway, someone was arrested for being under the influence of drugs and being in possession of drug paraphernalia.

A man and a woman were arrested for spousal battery in the 4300 block of Amberwick Lane on April 17. The wife showed signs of bruising on both arms, and the husband had deep scratches on his face.

On April 17 a man pulled over for speeding at the intersection of Poindexter and Moorpark Avenue was determined to be under the influence of drugs and in illegal possession of a gravity knife.

Someone was arrested on April 16 for shearing off a fire hydrant with a truck in the 500 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

On April 15 someone was arrested for trespassing in the old grainery building in the 100 block of High Street.

A student was arrested on April 21 at Moorpark High School for possessing marijuana on school grounds.

Graffiti was scrawled on the front door of a business between April 28 and 29 in the 600 block of Magnolia Street.

Thieves used a victim's credit card number and identification to make purchases in the 15100 block of Varsity Street between April 5 and 27.

Graffiti was scribbled on a wall at Mesa Verde School on Peach Hill Road on April 26. Damages did not exceed $400.

A theft took place from a residence on April 25 in the 9700 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

A known suspect threw a wrench through the rear window of a car in the 14300 block of Avenida Colonia on April 24.

A thief stole money from a residence in the 50 block of Majestic Court between March 15 and 20.

Burglars broke into a storage bin in the 10600 block of Citrus Drive on April 17 and stole numerous items.

A man was arrested in the 4400 block of Honeyglen Court on April 29 for domestic violence.
