Latest news from Pflaumer

Greetings to all from Breanna Pflaumer. I hope this update finds everyone well. As for me, I'm doing swell. We have received the official report of the MRI tests that were performed at Childrens Hospital Los Angles last month, and it looks like the tumor is showing signs of dying. Praise God!

School is going great; in fact, I received the highest grade on my geometry midterm, thanks to a very special friend. I also finished up world history, and now I am working on health. I am continuing my studies on English. We are just wrapping up on Julius Caesar. Hallelujah!

Some exciting events that are coming up in my life are, on May 21, I am being honored as a child cancer survivor and will receive the Brian Piccolo award at the fifth annual Spencer Shiffman/Hope Connection Charity Golf Tournament. All proceeds will benefit the City of Hope in helping to find a cure for this horrible disease.

Another upcoming event in my life is the Moorpark Relay for Life, which will be held at Moorpark High School on Sat., June 2. Our team name is "Cancer Crushers." If anyone would like to cheer me on, I will be walking- that's right, walking- the survivor's lap at 10:30 a.m. on June 2. It would mean so much to me to see all my supporters, friends and family. I love all of you so much.

Take care and may God bless. Breanna Pflaumer Moorpark
