Fortnightly speaker to discuss brittle bone disease

"The threat of osteoporosis" will be the topic at the monthly luncheon meeting of the Moorpark Women's Fortnightly Club at 10 a.m. Fri., May 11 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 13955 Peach Hill Road, Moorpark.

Reservations for the $10 luncheon can be made by noon Wed., May 9 by calling Tami Gresiak at (805) 529-5439.

The Fortnightly Club is more than 100 years old and has more than 120 members. The club is open to all women.

In addition to the monthly luncheons, there are evening gettogethers for women unable to attend a day meeting and a number of small groups involving crafts, books and bunco.
