Art fest wants music, drama performers

Performers are wanted for the annual Moorpark Arts Festival scheduled for Sun., May 6 at the Moorpark Civic Center.

Applications are being accepted from local groups and individuals who wish to share their talent with the public. All types of performing art, including music, dance and theater, are welcome.

Performers will be scheduled in 20-minute slots between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

A stage and sound system will be available for the performer's use. Musical accompaniment should be brought in CD format. There is no pay.

All material must be suitable for a family audience, and the city reserves the right to reject any applications.

Performers selected for the festival will be notified by Fri., April 6.
