Introducing a new Miss Teen

HARPER SMITH/Acorn Newspapers SPECIAL LADY- Lace Granateli, of Moorpark High School, waves to the applauding crowd as she is crowned Miss Teen Greater Conejo Valley at the Civic Arts Plaza in Thousand Oaks on March 24. The Miss Teen Ventura County and Greater Conejo Valley International pageant is hosted by Crowning Glory Productions, a company created and run by Connie and Marty Gushwa. The girls competing in these contests volunteer throughout their local areas on behalf of a nonprofit organization of their choosing. Granateli represents Teens For Humanity, an organization promoting peace and unity among teens. The Miss Greater Conejo Valley title was given to Sami Riddle, another Moorpark High School student.
