Play golf to support school band

Moorpark High School Band & Colorguard will host the third annual Golf Tournament on Mon., March 26 at the Moorpark Country Club.

Registration, complimentary continental breakfast and putting contest begin at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m.

Fees are $150 per person and include 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch and dinner, gift package, and pre-round practice balls.

Hole-in-one prizes include a new car, 50inch plasma television and a Carryall 2.

Non-golfers are invited to the raffle, silent auction and a performance by the Moorpark Musketeers Jazz A Band at 5 p.m. with dinner following at 6 p.m. for $40 per person.

Silent auction items include an electric guitar signed by Kelly Clarkson, a test shoe signed by Kobe Bryant, tickets for the North Shore Wildlife Cruise or Gray Whale Watching, Nike putter and tickets to Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

Also available will be golf rounds at Rustic Canyon Golf Course, Moorpark Country Club or Sinaloa Golf Course.

Local merchants will provide gift certificates for the raffle.
