BILL SPARKES/Acorn Newspapers MIND-NUMBING NUMBERS- Melissa and Peter Krause play with their son, Tanner, 8, as Flory School hosts Pi Day, a math festival celebrating the wonder of numerals. The Greek letter pi is used by mathematicians to represent an indefinite number that denotes the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. Melissa was also celebrating her birthday.
